How to create PCB layout design in proteus8

There are many post is available on this topic, but it not understand by students because of multi layers design in proteus, and how to handle this layer design, as a student I can post this simple design step by step


I can take an example in my old post Simple Adjustable DC power supply(simple RPS) and explained step by step

1.     First take design circuit on proteus Isis. wrong connection will lead to wrong tracks in PCB, so be careful or simulate the circuit as well as possible









 2.     Now click on ARES in top of the window


3.     Now u can enter in PCB editing windows in this u can see some important tools show in fig like
4.     First you will select board size by using 2D graphics mode box
And select the board edge in layer selector
Now drag on window according to size of board

5.     Now you can use any of this two methods
1.     Auto placer
2.     Manual placing
In auto placer option it will place components automatically in between board edge

               

In manual placing of components will select components and place it

6.     Now it’s time route
In routing also two options is available
1.     Auto rout
2.     Manual routing  
I prepare auto and take same manual adjustments 





Adjust components and tracks according to u required
Important:
In proteus can support only two or more layer PCB, in above fig blue tracks are bottom tracks and red tracks are top tracks, so in places of top tracks u can use jumpers as shown in fig below.

7.     Check errors in design


8.     3d components visualizer in proteus to check practical board  










9.       Take output print of PCB layers
